Steps to Resolve Remote Deposit Capture Issues

We sincerely apologize if you're experiencing issues with Remote Deposit Capture. If you are being prompted to reinstall, please follow these steps:

  1. Log out of RDC
  2. Unplug the USB cable from the Scanner
  3. Go to the Search function
  4. Type in Control Panel
  5. Open Control Panel, and go to Programs and Features
    • Specifically Uninstall
  6.  Look for D247. Scanner Service and D247.ScannerServiceRefresh 
    • You may be prompted for “Allow Application to make changes to Device”, select YES.
  7. Uninstall both
  8. Log back into RDC
  9. Proceed with the Windows/MAC scanner installation
    • It will give 3 options (Repair, Uninstall, Close), select Uninstall
    • You may be prompted for “Allow Publisher to make changes”, select YES.
    • Click on link again to Install
  10. Continue and go into the RDC program.
  11. Plug the Scanner back in
