The bank was selected out of 70,000 companies across the U.S. This marks the fourth Comparably recognition this year following categories including Best Career Growth, Best Leadership Team, and Best CEOs for Women.

Comparably awards are based on sentiment feedback provided solely by current employees who anonymously rated First Merchants between August 2022 and August 2023. Answers provided to the structured questions are given a numerical score and then compared to companies of similar size. Comparably is a leading employee review website and the only platform showcasing workplace culture, salary, and corporate brand reputation data.
