First Merchants for business Mobile app is a simple, secure and convenient way to manage your business accounts, anytime, anywhere, right from your Apple or Android device! Whether you’re at home, at work, or on the go, your bank accounts are at your fingertips; deposit checks, check your balance and see recent activity, make transfers, schedule and pay bills, find locations, and more, all on your mobile device!

To use the First Merchants for business Mobile app, you must be a Business Online Banking user of First Merchants Bank.

Mobile Deposit

Balances and Transactions

  • View balances for multiple accounts
  • View pending and recent transactions
  • Search transactions by date, description or amount

Transfers and Payments 

  • Transfer money between your First Merchants accounts
  • Schedule and pay bills to existing payees from your checking account

We understand the importance of security when managing your finances. We use industry standard security measures to protect your information both online and within our mobile apps.

No account data is ever stored on your device, but if your mobile device is lost or stolen, you may deactivate Mobile Banking anytime by logging in to your Business Online Banking account, clicking Administration > Manage mobile banking settings, and selecting Disable Device or Remove Device. Or, give us a call at 1.866.833.0050 for assistance (M-F 8 a.m.-6 p.m. ET).

Is Mobile Banking supported on my tablet?
  • Yes, First Merchants offers tablet-optimized Mobile apps for iPad and Android tablet users that are available from your tablet's mobile browser.

How do I navigate Mobile Banking links with my mobile device's browser?
  • To navigate, access the menu and choose an option.

How do I optimize my mobile web experience?
  • Ensure your device's browser has cookies enabled. In addition, enable style sheets for the best viewing experience.

Can I pay my bills?
  • Using Mobile Web or our Mobile App, you can pay any existing payee you already established in Online Banking by clicking the payments option from the main menu. All new payees must be added from your Online Banking profile. Text Banking does not currently support bill payment.

How current is the balance information?
  • Each time you log in to First Merchants Mobile Banking, the most current balances will be displayed.

Can I view all of my accounts?
  • Yes - You can view all of your accounts in Online Banking as long as they have been registered into online banking.

Are there any smartphone shortcuts available?
  • Users may download our Mobile App from the App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Appstore.

Where can I find the First Merchants mobile application to download?
  • First Merchants Mobile apps for personal and business users are available in the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Google Play for Android devices, and the Amazon Appstore for Kindle Fire.
