Online Banking Keeps Getting Better!
We're excited to announce that we now offer Mobile Banking and eStatements to all Online Banking customers for free!
A few of our other features:
View your accounts and recent transactions and make quick transfers from the Online Banking home screen. Dropdown menus and a search feature allow you to find what you’re looking for easily.
Out of stamps or checks? Bad weather? Relax. We’ve got it covered. First Merchants Online Banking includes FREE Bill Pay, so you can manage all your payments in one place. Online Bill Pay saves time and money, allowing you to pay all your bills with the click of a mouse. Pay all your bills from one screen and get a complete history of every bill you pay. You can even have your bills paid while you’re on vacation using Bill Pay scheduling.
Easy-to-set-up templates make recurring payments a breeze.
You can even schedule overnight payments using our Expedited Bill Payment option. This service supports payments to both businesses and individuals who do not accept electronic payments. Payment instructions received by 2:00 p.m. will be processed for delivery the next business day. Fees apply.
And, if you need it, our Online Banking service includes the ability to request a stop payment.
Easily create transfers between internal accounts (6:45 p.m. EST cutoff). You can even link external accounts and use our FREE external transfer feature (3:00 p.m. EST cutoff). Choose a one-time transfer or set up a recurring transfer.
You can make your loan payment using our Online Banking system, too, and you can pay down the principal on your loan faster, with our principal-only payment option.
Works with Quicken
Our Online Banking service includes FREE downloads to Quicken for your convenience.
We offer eStatements to all Online Banking customers for free! You’ll receive statements faster than postal mail, and we’ll send you an email when a new statement is available in your online archive.

Mobile and Text Banking
Your account information is as close as your mobile phone, with Mobile and Text Banking from First Merchants! Learn more about our features on page 12, then sign up within Online Banking to create your Mobile ID and PIN.
Mobile Web: Sign in from your mobile phone at firstmerchants.mobi
Text Banking: Text commands to 269265 from your mobile phone, and we’ll text you back in seconds with account information!
Mobile App: Download our app from the App Store for iPhone® and iPod touch®.
Streamlined, Secure Sign In
Sign in from www.firstmerchants.com anytime using your Login ID and password (case sensitive for added security). Our system doesn’t require you to change your password periodically, so you can choose a password you’ll remember. For security reasons, if you enter your password incorrectly too many times, you may be locked out of your account for 15 minutes. After that, you will be able to try again. If you need to reset your password, you may call our customer service line at 1.800.205.3464, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
