As a result of First Merchants Lakeshore Region's recent jeans day for Opportunity Enterprises, and a few very generous additional donations from team members, over $1,500 was raised to provide Opportunity Enterprises with a commercial washer and dryer for one of their respite homes. Respite House is a beautiful home where exhausted parents can drop off their developmentally disabled children so that they can have a small reprieve from their duties. The impact that First Merchants has on our communities is undeniable and it could not happen without all of the caring and generous employees.
