LBT Supports White County Economic Development

LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Lafayette Bank & Trust has provided a $1,500 contribution and was a Gold Sponsor of the Leadership White County Class of 2012.

"As a community bank with roots in White County going back to 1897, we understand the importance of concentrated efforts to develop economic growth and leaders within a community,” said Lafayette Bank & Trust Regional President Tony Albrecht. “Therefore, we are pleased to show our commitment and support to the Economic Development's on-going strategies to build upon White County's future and to develop the leadership skills through the leadership program.”

The Leadership White County program is an in-depth leadership development program designed to develop members’ leadership capacity, increase their involvement in civic and governmental organizations and help them to offer positive change in the county. Leadership White County is open to any individual who desires to serve the community and resides in, has a business in, or is involved in civic activities in White County.

White County Economic Development Organization, Inc. is organized to help educate the community on subjects related economic growth, employment opportunities and educational activities.
