First Merchants Supports Interlock Autism Event

In the United States, 1 in 88 individuals are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The number of kids in Indiana schools with autism has tripled over the past decade to more than 12,200 students. Interlock's mission is to assist and educate families in East Central Indiana living with ASD; also to assist local classrooms to accommodate the needs of students with ASD. Interlock serves over 200 families in East Central Indiana. Teachers and families express that their support has made a significant impact on their ability to affect the lives of children and families struggling with this debilitating disorder.
