Habitat for Humanity Benefits from Dragstrip Dash Event

Cathy Stoll, Marketing Director for IU Health West Hospital, John Skelton and Mary Keevers from First Merchants present a check for $3,000 to Craig Brighton, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County.PLAINFIELD, Ind. - First Merchants Bank and IU Health West Hospital were proud to present a donation of $3,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Hendricks County recently. The money was raised during the first Dragstrip Dash charity event this past October.

The 5K event, presented by First Merchants and IU Health West Hospital, was held at Lucas Oil Raceway on Saturday evening October 27, 2012, at 6 p.m. Runners were able to run on all three courses at Lucas Oil Raceway, including the famous dragstrip, road course and oval, all under the lights of Lucas Oil Raceway. First Merchants employee participants included Mary Keevers, John Skelton, Travis Walker, Michelle Martin, Ashley Kohut, Shiela Taylor, Sandy Gammon, Janna Kruml, Amanda Williams, and Becky Pauley.
