LBT Presents Fraud Prevention Seminar for Seniors

LAFAYETTE, Ind.- Financial Awareness and Fraud Prevention will be the topic of the educational seminar geared toward seniors, presented by Lafayette Bank & Trust on Wednesday, June 20. Lafayette Bank & Trust will present the seminar twice, once at 9 a.m. and again at 2 p.m. in the Community Room of its Main Office at 250 Main St., Lafayette, Indiana. The seminar will target important topics for helping senior citizens protect their funds and their identities at home, through the mail, and online. Additional topics covered will include common scams, protecting valuables at home, identity theft, and online security. The seminar will also include presentations by local law enforcement and senior services agencies as well as a local attorney to offer possible solutions.

This educational seminar is presented by Lafayette Bank & Trust in partnership with the Lafayette Police Department; Bennett, Boehning & Clary law firm; and AREA IV Council on Aging.
