FMB Decatur Supports Boys and Girls Club

August 23, 2012

DECATUR, Ind. – First Merchants Bank in Decatur donated $100 to the Adams County Boys and Girls Club. The bank employees celebrated Casual Friday by collecting donations from employees in exchange for the opportunity to wear jeans and tennis shoes to work. The funds raised were used to purchase art supplies, games and cake mixes. The Adams County Boys and Girls Club operates clubs in Decatur and Berne, and serves more than 200 Adams County youth every day.

The Casual Friday fundraiser was a result of the bank’s commitment to supporting local not-for-profit organizations. Each quarter, the company selects a new local organization to support. At First Merchants, we endeavor to make our communities better places to live, work and bank. First Merchants is proud to support local not-for-profit organizations like the Adams County Boys and Girls Club.
