First Merchants Employees Help Clean the Cardinal Greenway

MUNCIE, Ind. - First Merchants Bank, Muncie Region employees worked a First Merchants Community Day helping clean and prepare the Cardinal Greenway for their first 5k Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run. The group of volunteers spent the day completing event preparation, washing windows, cleaning floors, moving bicycles, trimming shrubs and weeding around the Depot grounds along with completing trail clean up along the 5k course.

Cardinal Greenways is a private, not-for-profit organization that encompasses the Cardinal Greenway, White River Greenway, Historic Wysor Street Depot and Cardinal Equestrian Trial. The Cardinal Greenway is the longest rail-trail in Indiana and spans 62 miles from Marion through Muncie to Richmond in East Central Indiana.
