Assistant Branch Manager - Elston Branch, Lafayette Bank & Trust

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service.  Assist Manager in developing and maintaining customer and business relations.  Supervise and motivate employees in the absence of the Manager.  Assist customers by profiling, probing, and recommending products and services to meet their needs and goals.  Sell and cross-sell loan and deposit products.
  2. Branch Operations.  Plan, supervise, direct and control all branch operations in accordance with policy and procedure.  Responsible for all operational and administrative matters supporting profitable operations and attainment of branch goals.  Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly audits of all management control and security items.  Ensure security and appropriate quantity of vault cash and cash drawers for daily operations.  Assist in sales and administration of IRA’s.  Supervise and assist employees with processing daily savings, checking, loan and general ledger transactions.  Provide daily operational information for reconciling, balancing, and updating files.

Position Qualifications:

One to three years retail and/or branch banking experience with supervisory responsibility.  Bondable.

Strong communication skills.  Demonstrated leadership qualities.  Professional and goal-oriented.
